Author Guidelines

Submission of Papers:

Acceptance for publication is subject to the manuscript being an unpublished work. Submission of a manuscript is taken to imply that it is not being considered for publication elsewhere.

 

Manuscript preparation:

The 'WORD' file of the manuscript should be provided, in single column and double-spaced typing, on A4 size pages. The manuscript must be written in English and should not, normally, exceed 6,000 words.

The metric system is to be used throughout and if it is necessary to quote other units then these should be added in parentheses. The use of unnecessarily complicated notation and formulae should be avoided and the material should be presented in the simplest possible manner.

The manuscript is expected to be written in correct and easily readable English. Both English and American spellings are acceptable, but each paper is expected to follow one style consistently.

 

Running Order:

Title: in concise form, with wording helping automatic searches, but no superfluous words.

Authors' details: Initial(s), Surname, Affiliation

Corresponding Author: e-mail address

Abstract: 150 words written as a 'free standing' paragraph and containing key objectives and conclusions.

Figures, Tables and Equations:

All figures, tables and equations should be numbered. When referring to figure, table or equations numbers, please use Figure, Table or Equation in full, followed by the number. Figures, tables and equations must be provided within the text.

 

References:

References should be provided in Vancouver Style and each reference must be referred into the text using a squared bracket [1].

[1] Name(s) and initial(s) of the author(s), title of article, title of journal (underlined), year of publication, volume number (followed by the issue number in parentheses, if known), initial and final page numbers of the article. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/XX.XXXX

Submission Preparation Checklist:

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published.

  2. The submission is not under consideration by any other journal.

  3. The submission file is in 'Microsoft Word' format.

  4. The figures and tables are included within the text.

  5. The details of all authors will be added in the submission process.

  6. The contact details of three potential reviewers are provided in the 'Comments for the Editor’.

  7. The text adheres to the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

  8. The author accepts to pay Article Processing Charge (APC) on acceptance of the article. The registrants of The International Conference of Multiphysics are exempted.

Peer-Review Process and Policy:

The journal uses a Double-Blind peer-review process. Authors are required to provide revisions and responses to the reviewers’ comments. The decision is with the concerned Editor. The decision categories are

  • Accept Submission

  • Request Revisions (revisions will not be subject to a new round of peer reviews)

  • Request Revisions (revisions will be subject to a new round of peer reviews)

  • Decline Submission

In case of conflict, the concerned matters will be raised to the Editor-in-Chief, who may consult Editorial Board. The Editor-in-Chief/Editorial Board decision will be final and unobjectionable.

Privacy Statement:

The names and email addresses entered in the journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

Author Fees

This journal charges the following author fees.

Article Publication Charge (APC): £800

You may be required to pay the Article Processing Charge. If you do not have funds, you will have an opportunity to request a waiver. The fee should not prevent the publication of worthy work. 

The registrants of The International Conference of Multiphysics are exempted.
